In this 2-hour class, you’ll build a practical household communication plan using simple, reliable methods, including texting, out-of-area contacts, organized contact lists, and basic backup communication options. You’ll leave with a personalized communication plan, structured contact system, and clear household communication protocols.

Advanced - $300

This advanced 3–5 hour course builds on the Basic class and teaches you how to communicate when cell networks, internet, and other normal systems are unavailable. You’ll learn how to create layered communication plans, use backup methods including FRS/GMRS radio concepts, coordinate during evacuations or multi-location scenarios, and apply clear communication protocols under stress. You’ll leave with a multi-layered communication strategy, a practical understanding of radio-based options, and greater confidence staying connected during communication failures.
