First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST)

First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST) is an in-person, hands-on course focused on recognizing and managing life-threatening injuries before advanced medical care arrives.

The course covers rapid assessment, severe bleeding control, tourniquet use, wound packing, and direct pressure. Students practice with realistic bleeding simulators to build hands-on skill and confidence.

Focus Areas: Massive hemorrhage control, rapid patient assessment, and life-saving interventions

Certification/Recognition: Qualifies as a Stop the Bleed program
