Wilderness & Remote First Aid

Wilderness & Remote First Aid is a certification course focused on medical care in remote settings where help may be delayed, resources may be limited, and evacuation may take time.

Course Length Options:

1-Day WFA, 8 Hours
Certification: ECSI
Focus: Core wilderness first aid concepts and immediate care skills

2-Day WFA, 16 Hours
Certification: American Red Cross or ECSI
Focus: Standard wilderness first aid training for outdoor programs, organizations, and remote activities

4-Day Intensive WFA, 36 Hours
Certification: ECSI
Focus: Expanded scenarios, extended care, and remote decision-making

 

Prerequisite: Current Adult CPR/AED certification required before attendance
Certification: Issued upon successful completion, based on course provider
